He’s a heavenly feller

Some dude named Hel fell into a well.
He grabbed the ollogee rope and thought, “Boy, this is swell!
This rope’s taut or it’s not ... there, don’t you see?
I’ve now got myself a nice taut-ollogee!”
And with it he crawled out of his own private Hell.
We once had a commie named Kraz
“Had,” I tell you, not “has.”
He left for the fights
To give workers their rights
We miss him, do we, I says.
I often see postings of swill
And think to myself, “Oh, there’s Quill!”

I ponder with scorn

A newer lass whose name was Suzy

And insists evolution’s overrated.”
